About the Brand
Statement jewelry speaks before you do. It tells a story, draws the eye, and elevates even the simplest outfit into something unforgettable. Beaded Statements grew from my passion for creating one-of-a-kind artisanal pieces through bead crochet, beaded Kumihimo, and intricate wire-wrapped designs.
Every piece is meticulously handcrafted, infused with intention, emotion, and thousands of carefully chosen beads. I design each pattern as if painting with color and light—letting vibrant hues, nature’s textures, and my own life experiences guide the artistry.
From bold bead-crochet necklaces to dimensional brooches that feel like miniature gardens or coral reefs, each creation is made to captivate. These pieces aren’t just accessories—they're wearable art meant to inspire joy, confidence, and connection.
Behind the Brand
I'm Helene, a native of Massachusetts for the first half century of my life.
I've always been a maker, genetically imbued with many talents from my maternal relatives, Many years ago, I became passionate about jewelry making thanks to the encouragement of my older son.
In 2019, our family sold our home of 22 years and all of our possessions and moved onto a 57' trawler. My husband, younger son, and dog, Macy (spokes-dog for Beaded Statements), lived aboard and travelled extensively for four years, including to the Bahamas twice (I was bead crocheting the entire time)!
Since you can take the girl out of New England but you can't take New England out of the girl, I'm now back to the terrestrial life in Massachusetts. I'm finally able to realize my dream of starting my own online jewelry business and hope you will join me on this exciting journey!
