About the Brand
Statement jewelry allows the wearer to speak volumes without ever uttering a word: it tells a story, elevates you, makes you stand out and shine in every moment. It makes the wearer feel beautiful, and it can be worn to compliment a simple outfit or to build an outfit around. Beaded Statements was born from my passion for creating artisanal statement jewelry in bead crochet and beaded Kumihimo.
The true testament to statement jewelry is the artistry that goes into the designs. While delicate jewelry can be pretty, nothing compares to the visual intrigue of a statement necklace, especially one created in bead crochet. When you can tell that hours went into designing & crafting the jewelry to perfection, that is truly what sets it apart from all the rest.
Each of my creations is imbued with my heart and soul, crafted to perfection, with no detail being too small. Each piece tells a story or conveys an emotion, and I draw upon my own life experiences and nature for inspiration. I seek to touch people in a personal way that brings joy to them and satisfaction to me.
Vibrant patterns abound in my collections, each consisting of thousands of tiny beads in colors and finishes that are meticulously chosen to maximize the impact of each piece.
My collection of wire-wrapped beaded brooches is an extension of my love of detail and creating unique jewelry with tiny beads. Delicate and dimensional flower gardens, coral reefs, and abstract designs with focal gemstones are all crafted in captivating minutiae and perfection.
Behind the Brand
I'm Helene, a native of Massachusetts for the first half century of my life.
I've always been a maker, genetically imbued with many talents from my maternal relatives, Many years ago, I became passionate about jewelry making thanks to the encouragement of my older son.
In 2019, our family sold our home of 22 years and all of our possessions and moved onto a 57' trawler. My husband, younger son, and dog, Macy (spokes-dog for Beaded Statements), lived aboard and travelled extensively for four years, including to the Bahamas twice (I was bead crocheting the entire time)!
Since you can take the girl out of New England but you can't take New England out of the girl, I'm now back to the terrestrial life in Massachusetts. I'm finally able to realize my dream of starting my own online jewelry business and hope you will join me on this exciting journey!
